There's so much in here that I can't respond in a short way to the many many things it brought up in my heart and mind. A beautiful and wild piece in its honesty, range of feeling, knowing, and self-awareness. Sometimes I think you don't give yourself enough credit and are too hard on yourself Gregory. This was an incredible read that took me into places in myself I'd almost forgotten about. You are doing the work that needs to be done to bring in a new world without a doubt, and it's breathtaking and an honor to witness. Cheers.

Gregory- This is so true on so many levels. The part that really struck me was: "It is hard to properly put in words what it is like to be among people whose every act is determined by its heightened ability to align with Natural Law. At times it can cause humiliation and a great sadness. How have we allowed ourselves to veer so far away from the path of happiness and wisdom, the simple complexity of being a True Human?" Truth in words. I appreciate this. Hope you're well this week? Cheers, -Thalia

Hard to find words to respond to this, many thoughts provoked but real gift is commitment to being with, not knowing , in gratitude. 🙏

So very grateful for such a wise reflection. I often refer to myself as a recovering serious person. The body wisdom of play and InterPlay has been my greatest teacher. In it I dance between enchanted forms of intelligence found in the creative birthrights and cognition. I will share this piece and hold these words, All people deserve to be seen as grand!

"A recovering serious person"! Oh wow, please offer me some tips! I use to be so silly, then like Peter, I became a pirate! Ha! Well, I hope I didn't actually go that far, but it takes real courage and deep awareness to remain lighthearted in these times. Well done! Thanks for reading, Cynthia!

You may or may not have been the one to recommend "Hospicing Modernity: Facing Humanity's Wrongs and the Implications for Social Activism" Not an easy read but boy oh boy, will we ever get to the point of understanding how we think about and deal with the "other" in our lives? Not in my lifetime although I have some hope remaining for the youngest alive today. "if we are ever going to regenerate our lost capacity to understand Her we will need to gracefully come down from our high horse and trust Her, as She is, raw, wild and direct, without our misguided interpretations." I love that as it speaks "truth to power" especially to those who were taught they were supposed to have "dominion" over the earth. What they forgot in that ancient scriptural quote was to replenish the earth, a lesson lost that needs to be relearned.

If more would read, understand, appreciate and act on what Vanessa Machado de Oliveira has laid out for us, there might be a better chance for survival. Wouldn't it be a great text for a course that we could teach to kids, older ones especially? There have to be a few teachers and professors out there who would see it as an opportunity to add something of value to the curriculum.

We have so much to learn, don't we? Thanks for such an instructive post. How do we truly immerse ourselves in life?

So much Diana, so much. Yet I don't let it overwhelm me but serve as a conduit for awe. What an impossibly massive world we get to be a part of! Mesmerizing in infinite ways! Awe, seems to be a good gateway into true immersion with Life. Pure, unadulterated AWE. :)
