I couldn't love this more. Also maybe I should mow in my hand-spun robe just to shake things up a bit, but seriously, truthful, important, thought-provoking piece. All Hail Nature, may her wild mane reign again in the vast untamed beauty of living free!
Brilliant. I may be dressed in rags but I am fortunate, I can lean on a 5-bar field gate and think of nowt. What did Keats say about Truth and Beauty? We've lost both.
Vietnamese Zen Master, Thich Naht Hanh often said that there is no way to Peace... Peace IS the way. I feel the same can be said of beauty. We must remember how to BE beauty. It will require work, of course to cultivate again the necessary conditions for authenticity, but Beauty, is our natural state. Modernity tells us it is something we must strive for, something we must buy. But does a bird need to strive to be a bird? Nature already is beautiful by being who she is. and we art that too. All blessings to you, Johanna. Thanks for sharing....
I loved this writing. One thing jumped out at me though (I can be difficult sometimes). Vaginas have no hair. It is vulvas that are shaved.
It's official. Most memorable typo ever. ;)

getting around to reading your writings I have missed lately. thanks for this one.
I am also infuriated with modernity. I fight against it even as I live amongst it. How can we bring more wild Beauty into this ticky tacky world?
